Gareth Thompson qualified as a solicitor in 2009. Subsequently he gained significant experience in commercial and insurance litigation before working inhouse with one of the leading International Group P&I Clubs. During this time he handled a broad range of shipping disputes falling under both P&I and FDD insurance. He is accustomed to acting for both Owners and charterers on all manner of charterparty disputes, cargo claims and other maritime cases. Gareth has always had a keen interest in the shipping industry as members of his family were involved in shipbuilding and his father was in the merchant navy. In his spare time Gareth enjoys keeping fit, live music performances and films. |
